Produced in the Serros Studio by Jaime Sandoval and myself for a commission from Francisco Franco (producer of the murals) to be installed in a downtown San Francisco club. The figure was constructed from parts of three life-size manniquins. A metal frame holds the parts together along with screws, epoxy and acrylic resins. The hair is expansion foam over wire and the wings are made of steel wire and aluminum wire mesh. The figure was painted white with accents of color and glitter was liberally appied. Beads were added as a finishing touch. The figure hangs from the center of the drapery clad ceiling of the main dance floor.
